Dentures and Partial Dentures:

Replacing missing teeth with dentures have the following benefits:

  • You will feel better.

  • You will eat better.

  • You will speak better.

  • You will look younger.

A Complete Denture is for patients that currently have no teeth or need to have all of their teeth extracted. Then we place a complete denture after gums have healed. The time for the healing process varies between patients. It usually takes about six months.

An Immediate Denture is made before the teeth are extracted. The we place it in the mouth immediately after we extract the teeth. The patient will have teeth while the gums are healing. After the gums are healed, they will shrink and the denture is relined to give you a comfortable fit.

A Partial Denture or "removable bridge" replaces missing teeth when you have healthy adjacent teeth to hold the partial. The difference between fixed bridge and a partial is the fixed bridge is permanent while a is removable. The partial like a permanent bridge, fills in the gap of missing teeth to prevent the other teeth from shifting.

Dr. Owais will examine your mouth and help you decide which option is best for you.
